Imoprting CVS history?

How can I import all of the old CVS information from my old project into my new Fortress database?

We don't have an import tool for CVS. You could do a get of your code and add it to Vault.

Getting the code is not the issue. There is no way to retain history if I port a project from CVS? I would think this would be a big feature request....

We have had a few requests for a CVS import -- I'll add your "vote" to the feature request, but I don't know if or when it will be implemented.

Some users have reported using their existing source code tools to get versions from history and then add them, a version at a time, to Vault. That's basically what we do with the VSS import tool.

Any update on if CVS history can be imported into a Fortress DB? Any support on this would be helpful.
