Line with a diff won't highlight anymore

Post by UndeadHalfOrc » Sun Jul 18, 2010 12:13 am

Hi!

I've had a smooth experience with diffmerge for 3 months now, but just now, lines that have a change in it won't highlight in pale pink anymore (the COMPLETE line that has a diff in it was highlighted in very pale pink, not just the changed word).
This happened suddenly and I don't know what setting I may have changed accidently - as far as I know I didn't and I'm the only user on this computer.

Now, only the differences themselves are still highlighted, but this is a pain as my files are quite large in width and it takes a long time to decipher which lines were changed or not, I can't view each individual change in one window by just scrolling up or down.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling diffmerge but the problem is still there.

Help :(

It may be that some of the color scheme got changed
in the Preferences/Options dialog.

On each page of the the Preferences/Options dialog there
is a "Restore Defaults" button. That will restore the factory
settings for everything on that page. Try using that on each
of the various color pages and then click OK on the dialog
and then see if the files are properly highlighted again.
