Show output from vault in VS2010?

Under previous versions of visual studio I was able to show output from vault in the output window of VS. Is this still possible under VS2010 with Vault 5.0.3? Without this it is difficult to know if a get latest from vault has worked correctly.

In VS 2010 there is still an output pane and I think it should still work the same way.

It's not working. The vault output is not showing in the output pane and there is no obvious control to turn it on.

After looking into it further, I see what you mean. Yesterday, when I opened VS 2010, opened the output window, and then performed an Open From Vault, the output window did show everything, but today I looked at it again and now I can see the issue. The output window is configured in VS Tools - Options - Debugging, but there isn't a setting there to help with this. I'm not sure if the fault here lies with us or Visual Studio, but I'll log a bug on it.

Sorry, but I don't have a way to open up our bug tracking for the public. I can make a note in it though to post back here. Also, our release notes would list changes made as well.

If you sign RSS feed for Release Notes, look for Vault 5.0.4. This will be addressed in that release.

We now have a pre-release version of Vault 5.0.4 which includes a fix for problems within Visual Studio 2010. Anyone interested in trying this out on a trial basis should send an email to "vaultbeta AT sourcegear DOT com"
