"Server was unable to process request -> Specified cast is not valid"

I get this message on log on -> Actually everyone gets this message on login.

People that were logged on can still access the DB.

Any ideas?

What does the server's sgvault.log contain? Any information related to the error?

If not, anything found in the Vault Server's Application / System Event Viewer Logs?

We restart the IIS using the command-line tool "iisrestart". The IIS is back up and running and we can connect to the Vault main web page. On task manager, we can see "aspnet_wp" running. However, when we try to connect to http://vaultservicesite.local/VaultServ ... rvice.asmx, it doesn't connect.

The previous issue was related to the sgvault log being full in SQL. We found this out from the sgvault.log file. Thanks.

We had to reboot the server and everything is back up but it would be nice to know how to restart IIS and get the asp services back up and running.

Thanks.

Usually an "iisreset.exe" does the trick.

One thing to note, upon the Vault Services Application_Start, the Vault server will try to clean up after itself. It is possible the first time you connected after the iisreset, the Vault server had not yet completed cleanup.
