When I attempt to add my serial number that I previously obtained when I purchased version 3.5.3 of SOS to my free download of version 4.0 using the Server Manager I get an error stating:
"You have entered an invalid serial number"
The number used to work after I upgraded to version 4 but my machine crashed and I reinstalled (everything) and the serial number is not being accepted at this time.
Can anyone tell me how to get this to work, my demo license expires in 2 days??!!??
Thanks,
Tommie Carter

When SOS Server is first installed it generates a 10-user demo 4.0 license.
Your permanent serial number doesn't work in the new installation because version 3.x serial numbers don't work in 4.0 SOS servers.
You can upgrade to SOS 4.0 -- see this link -- http://support.sourcegear.com/viewtopic.php?t=615
I can also send you another 4.0 demo if you want to continue evaluating SOS 4.0. Email me by clicking the email link below.
