Error when trying to check in

I receive this error when trying to checkin from the sourcegear client.
Item $/Proj/MyDirectory caused the transaction to fail: An item with the same name or object id already exists in the selected folder.

The option to undo checkout is grayed out so I can't undo this folder add. I don't want to add the folder, I just want this folder add not to appear when selecting checkin.

Check your Fortress Pending change set to see if the "Add" operation is there. If so, undo it.
