Re-binding work folder

Post by Alexnaldo » Tue Mar 09, 2010 3:48 am

Hi,

After formated my computer and reinstalled Fortress Client its said "missing" for all files. My working folder is "h:\", so I only formated the "c:\".

In the VS 2008 when I try to open the solution doesn't show any option to re-binding my sources.

What I need to do ?

Regards,

The Missing status means that the files are not currently located on disk based on the information Fortress has. The things you did to your C drive have removed the cache that Fortress uses to determine file status and location. Since you have the files on your H: drive, you will need to set a working folder again and either Get the files with a Do Not Overwrite/Merge Later or perform a folder Diff.

In VS 2008, what happens after you open the solution file? Does the solution open in VS? Do you see either locks or green circles with check marks next to the files?
