Today I had visual studio lock up on me while debugging and had to kill VS 2008. However, after I restarted VS I was no longer able to access the repository I had been working in from either Visual Studio or the Vault client directly.
Any access to the repository results in a "Object reference not set to an instance of an object." However, another user is able to access the repository from my PC. I am also able to access the repository from another PC.
So that makes me think the problem is a local file on my PC.
So far I have tried rebooting my PC, restarting the Vault Server and uninstalling / reinstalling the client without having any luck.
I'm on server version 4.1.2.18185

It sounds like Vault is missing some cache information that it needed to get at the same time as when VS crashed. A way to fix that is to rename you client side cache. If you aren't familiar with this, then I recommend renaming instead of deleting so that you aren't surprised by anything. Instructions are posted here: http://support.sourcegear.com/viewtopic ... 13&t=11513.

Thanks, I actually figured that out after poking around in the setting. I renamed the cache and am rebinding the solution right now.
