We have changed the names of several software projects in our repository for better readability. However, if we try to show the differences between an earlier applied project label (before the project folder was renamed) and the current version in the repository, we get the following error:
"Object reference not set to an instance of an object."
It looks to me this is a bug. We are using Fortress Client 1.1.1.18060.
Is this a known issue for this version and/or can or will this be fixed in a new release?
Our project structure is:
Project1
----subdir1
---file1
---file2
----subdir2
etc.
Error with show diff. after renaming project folder.

Re: Error with show diff. after renaming project folder.
This is a known issue, logged as bug 13261 in our item tracking database. I've added your comments and bumped it up in priority.
As a workaround, you could name the folder to the original name, or do a Get of the label to a folder on disk, then compare the latest version in the repository (or a historical folder version) to the contents of the label on disk.

Re: Error with show diff. after renaming project folder.
Thank you Linda for your quick response, as always here at SourceGear
I do not want to rename those projects to their original name, so I would be very glad if this could be fixed in a next release.
