Ack! Vault Admin tool repository list - incorrect?

Post by luther_miller » Thu Jul 22, 2004 3:38 pm

I just added some new repositories.

Now, there are two repositories in the list that appear to be cross-referenced.

When I click on either of them and look at properties, the properties for the OTHER repository comes up.

One is named
Xxx-DEF
and the other is named
Xxx ABC

Well, those aren't the real names, but the real names contain confidential information. In any case, you get the idea. I click on Xxx-DEF properties, and I get a pop-up for Xxx ABC instead, and vice versa!

Luther:

Now that's a strange one. Please note, the item you change in the properties page is applied to the repository as specified in the Repository name. The list in the main admin tool page is displaying the incorrect text.

I've logged a high priority bug here.

Thanks for the report.

Maybe it has to do with the dash vs. space after the Xxx?

Maybe it has to do with the dash vs. space after the Xxx? Different sort order in the list vs. in memory?

You're probably right - the listbox has a sort order different from the array list returned from the database.
