I have been using Microsoft SourceSafe with Visual Studio for years. I now use SourceSafe with VS2008. I do not want to import my SourceSafe files. Can I use SourceSafe for my old projects and Fortress on my new projects. Can the two versionj control systems co-exist on the same clients and I choose which version control client to use when I select the project ( old or new ).

Re: SourceSafe and Fortress Clients Together
Yes, you can use both SourceSafe and Fortress clients on the same machine -- we have both on our machines here in SourceGear Tech Support because our SourceOffSite product uses VSS for the database. As long as you don't try to mix VSS and Fortress source control for the same projects, it should be fine.
