*.designer.cs files not being added

i'm sure I'm just doing something boneheaded.

I've added a settings file and a resources file to my VS2008 asp.net MVC project, and the *.designer.cs files for each were not automatically added. The changes to the project file were submitted, but Fortress didn't add the files themselves.

I'm using the Fortress enhanced client, v 1.1.4(18402), on win7 x64 build 7000 (beta), with VS 2008 (v9.0.30729.1 SP).

I've also installed the March CTP of Windows Azure Tools for Microsoft Visual Studio (v1.0.20313.1)

And Asp.NET MVC 1.0.

I'm unable to reproduce this with MVC 1.0 and VS 2008 SP 1. Do designer.cs files get left out no matter what you add? Has it happened more than once? Can you post the steps you take to reproduce the issue? After you've added a new file, look at the pending changes window. Do you see the designer file listed there?
