how do i release a project from fortress

Hi,
I'm new to using this software, and I have a project in fortress that I need to release entirely.
I thought that by deleting the repository where it was originally stored, i could just add a new repository and check all my project files into that one but I can't.
Can someone help me resolve this issue.

If you are using the IDE integration, bindings are written to the project as well, so it is probably still looking for the old location.

What version of Fortress are you using?
Which version of Visual Studio do you use?
If you are using VS 2005 or newer, are you using the Classic or Enhanced client?

If you are just trying to add using the GUI client, then what is the error you get?
