Hello.
We are running a vault trial server (version 4.1.4.18402) and trying to check in/check out files with Dreamweaver CS3. Everything worked fine with getting the connection set up, and I was able to upload our files to the vault server. The problem comes when trying to check out files. Most of the file names are CamelCase. When the files are uploaded, I can see in the web interface that it is preserving the case on the vault server. However, if I look at the remote view in Dreamweaver, it looks like all the files are completely lowercase.
The appearance would not be a problem, except that when I try to check out one of these files, it says the file does not exist on the remote server. I presume this would be because the local file shows the correct case, but the remote server version that Dreamweaver sees would be all lowercase, so it looks like a different file.
It's far too late in this project to convert all of our file names to lowercase. Is there a way I can set the client to "preserve case" in Dreamweaver?
Thank you.

We don't know of any work-around on this issue. It was discussed in this thread: Dreamweaver Checkout - files do not exist on remote server. The only option I know of where one can configure any kind of case sensitivity is the Case Sensitive Link Checking option, but that won't affect source control.

OK. Is your bug tracker publicly viewable?
Thanks.
Thanks.

You can have the public submit bugs through our External Submissions feature, but they can't track them without being at least a web-only user.
