Feature: filter users

I've read a post about that but I think, that at least inactive users should be removed from some fortress combo (like checked-out by search pane, but may be in other queries/windows), or filtered if there is another option.
Looking for a file that is checked out by someone that left the company is really rare...

It's not really the same regards, but still is about filter.
I would like that some users (WEB in our case) cannot see the names of other users (even if it means hiding some fields for them, or some users):
for security reason (if the do not know the login, it's more difficult to log into fortress using another user account)
for confidentiality reason (some of our customers are competitors)
for management purpose (they do not have to say who should fix a bug, and certainly not assign another user to such a task) !!!

I've logged feature request 13290 for this functionality, though I don't know if or when it will be implemented.

Sounds like you might need to use "code" names for your users so no one can figure out who's who.

But codenames won't help for security as it still the login that is displayed not the full name. It's then only a matter of password once you have a login.

To give more info: I think that The 'Name' should be used somewhere not the login everywhere or at least as an option
