Tutorial on ITEM TRACKING

Hello,
I see that there is a ITEM TRACKING feature available in Vault / Fortress and I was trying to use it but I found it difficult to understand. It would it be nice if there were a tutorial on this ITEM Tracking feature available, not just the help files. IF there is one, would you please give me the link !!
