Dreamweaver Checkout - files do not exist on remote server

I am using dw9/CS3 (although i have had this problem for last couple of versions too).

If I get the files from my repository through DW or Vault all of the files created locally are camel case like ‘SendToFriend.aspx’.
But when I try to check out a file in Dreamweaver it tells me it can’t as the file does not exist on the remote server.
This is because the files on my Remote Server according to DW are a lower case ie 'sendtofriend.aspx'

Does anyone know why remote files are seen as lower case and if there is any way to change this?

If you log in to the remote machine to look at the files, are they lower case there?

The files in source/locally are Camel Cased. These files were created in VS2005 as Camel Case

What do you actually mean by "logging in to the remote machine", as the files are in source?

What do you actually mean by "logging in to the remote machine", as the files are in source?

Try checking using a Vault GUI client on the Vault server to see if you get the same results.

On your machine, if you were to pull the file from Vault, is it the correct case?

By getting Dreamweaver out of the way, we might be able to narrow down the issue.

Is the file on disk (your hard drive) in camel case or lowercase?

Open Vault. How does it look there? Is it camel case or lowercase?

All files on disk are camel case.
All files everywhere, except DW remote file list are camel case.

I'm assuming that all of your websites that are in lower case are fine. Is that correct?

If that's true, then it sounds like we have a bug. I will get this logged.

Thats right, all files/websites in lowercase work correctly.
All files/websites that are camel case don't.

The bug is logged. The work-around in the meantime will just be to use lowercase.

I am using Version 5.0.4 dreamweaver 8 and I got the same problem with files with names in Upper and lower case.

That particular bug is showing as finished. Since you are on DW8, are you connecting using WebDav or are you using our old plugin that is talked about here: http://support.sourcegear.com/viewtopic.php?t=5463?
