Getting Latest does not work properly

When I get latest on a project now (VS2005 with SOS4) I incorrectly get all my files updated. This didn't happen before. Now I don't know which file have really changed which means every time I want to push my code to the web I have to push every single file (instead of the changed ones).

Also whenever I check out a file it sometimes incorrectly tells the file has changed and asks if I want to overight, merge later, cancel...

Any ideas what could be wrong?

Which version of SOS (SourceOffSite) are you using?
What is the status of the files before you either Get Latest or Check Out those files?
Does anyone get the same behavior with SOS?
Does anyone get that behavior when using a VSS client?
