Server Error 500 Maximum Request Length Exceeded

Since upgrading to 1.1.3 yesterday we can no longer attach files above a certain size to Items.

2Mb is fine, but 12Mb is not. Previously we have uploaded much larger files without issue.

What setting was changed when we upgraded to 1.1.3?

The following error is recorded in the Fortress log:

Look in the Advanced Settings on you Fortress admin web page. The default setting for the IIS file upload limit is 102400 kb (100 mb). Is that still the case?

If not, you can change it there. If you still can't upload after that, then perform an iisreset (Start - Run - type 'iisreset') to make IIS load the settings again.

The setting is at 1048576. I did an iisreset with no effect.

I need more documentation to find what happened. Could you send an email to support at sourcegear.com (attn: Beth) and include a link to this thread? I'd like you to attach to that email your web.config and your Vault Server Log.

I replied back on October 13th. Did you not receive my email? Could you check your email filters and blocks? The support emails sometimes seem to get marked as spam.

If you can come up with my response email, I think we should continue offline. I will send the email again in a few minutes.

Updating the maxRequestLength in the web.config file fixed the issue.
