why do identical files show in the DiffMerge sometime?

Post by yamao » Sun Sep 28, 2008 1:19 pm

Hi All

I have a defaulta.aspx under c:/dev and c:/release, they are indential files. When using folder diff in DiffMerge, the defaulta.aspx shows up in the list, but the items are opened in new window, the "files are equivalent under the current RuleSet". It seems that they have same content, what else could make the files showing on the list then?

System info: Vista, DiffMerge 3.2.0(18185)

Thanks!

It looks like your question was answered in the same thread mentioned above right after you posted there. If that wasn't what you are looking for, then please explain further.
