Search Pane does not display files. Get Latest doesn't work.

I am running SGV 3.1.8 (3777) (I know we need to upgrade)

When I select the search pane and select a Search critieria from the drop down, it does not display all the files for that condition. If I go directly to a folder that I have files checked out, or statuses set (old, renegade, edited, etc), they show up in the 'Contents of:' pane in the upper right section of the main window.

Also when I go to a SGV folder that has subfolders and Select Get Latest Version, not all the subfolders are updated. I have checked that the Working folders are set properly. I have tried checking that the subfolders are inherited. They are updated if I go to each subfolder and Get Latest, but there are too many subfolders to do this individually.

We've been using SGV for years, and this used to work for me until a week or so ago. Also I am the only SGV user that is having this problem. Something must have gotten corrupted. I was doing something with sharing and branching folders a while back, but no one else who is using these folders is having this problem.

I've also tried removing my top level working folder and doing a fresh Get Latest, but I still have the same problem.

I don't think we have a license for more users, so I was wondering if there was a way to delete my user name and readd it back.

Well the smart people I work with figured this out.

They noted that it was behaving as if some of the folders were cloaked, even though they weren't set that way.
They cloaked the folders that were misbehaving, then uncloaked them and VOILA! ALL is good again.
