Ignoring files with specific extensions

Post by atweiker » Wed Jun 16, 2004 7:35 am

I've just recently migrated from using subversion/cvs to using vault as my SCM. One of the things that I found really handy was the ability to create .cvsignore files and then specifying what extensions to not import into the SCM. Is there an equivilent ability in vault? I have looked and haven't been able to find something so I was hoping that I have just been looking in the wrong spots.

By import, do you mean add files to Vault, or import them from VSS? We don't have either right now, but we do plan to add the feature to have exclude certain file types when adding files to Vault.

I was referring to adding files to vault. Sorry for the confusion.
