How to rollback a whole transaction?

Post by swautier » Tue Jun 24, 2008 2:37 am

Env.: Vault Client and Server Version: 4.0.4.15848

Hi,

A couple of days ago, I made an atomic check-in on 4 files. Today, I want to rollback this change. But it seems I can only rollback individual files. I realize that rolling back implies choosing the version of the file which should be rolled back. But is there any possibility to say something like 'Cancel this scheck-in transaction' ?

TIA
Serge.

If it's just 4 files, then it will be better to roll back the individual files. There isn't a way to roll back an entire changeset or folder.

If you need to do it at a folder level, then you perform a Get out to a different location of the version of the folder you want, then check out the folder in Vault, drop the version you got into your working folder so that it gets overwritten, and then check it in as a change.
