When I log in to SOS (version 3.5.3), or try to perform any functions in it, I get the following messages:
"Database1.sos in read only mode. Status information will not be persisted during this session."
"Error parsing database1.sos"
This started today out of the blue after rebooting my computer. I reimported my encryption key not knowing where the problem lie, which did nothing, but to my suprise, SOS performed the function, but the error messages continue. I've uninstalled the program and reinstalled and still get them whenever I do anything in SOS.
I read the post on Thurs. 6-10 re: a similar problem but it didn't help.
Any help?
thanks,
Matt

Also if this problem persists after your cache files have been re-created, there may be something corrupting or modifying your databaseX.sos files.
It may take some investigation on your part to determine what that could be.
