Cloak not working
When I cloak a folder it goes from purple to gray but remains viewable in the navigation pane. Our Vault rev is 3.5.0.

Hmm, that's not my interpretation of your documentation in the knowledge base here. In http://support.sourcegear.com/viewtopic.php?t=9 it says:
"Hide" to me means I don't see the folder, not that its color turns from purple to gray. Oh well, it is what it is.Cloak allows you to hide folders you don't care about. The folder is still there, but you no longer have to deal with it.
I suppose "hide" lends itself to different interpretations.
For a more precise definition of Cloak, see Vault GUI Client Help->Reference Guide->Main Window:
Cloak/Uncloak
The Cloak command allows you to specify that a folder should be ignored during other operations. For example, Get Latest Version operation will not get files from a cloaked folder unless the cloaked folder is specifically selected.
