Comments Question

Hi,

I am look to migrate to your product from another source control piece of software. The actions I carry out using software are relatively simple and I have no use for branching and sharing etc etc

1 thing that was particularly useful in my existing software was the ability to add a comment at check-out that then displayed next to the persons name who checked the file out along with "exclusive".

Is there anyway to have a check out comments column on the main screen where checout/ins are performed?

Thanks. I'm assuming by your reply that no such feature exists in the current build. Can I ask how I'd know if a feature request is successful and incorporated into the build and how long that process takes?

How this works is features are evaluated and prioritized by our development team. We consider how many users have asked for a feature, overall usability and impact on other functionality. How soon the feature makes it into the project also depends on the complexity of implementation and testing.
