We are using SOS 3.5.3, and everything was working fine when SOS server and VSS databases were on the same machine. I copied the databases to a new machine with VSS client and server installed, but kept SOS on the old machine thinking that it would connect to databases over the LAN. I can check out and check in files fine on this new machine when I am using VSS to do it, but the SOS server on the old machine will not connect to the databases and allow the service to start. The log file says
"Number of licenses configured: 4
Unable to open \\Quasar\VSS (G)\DHF\srcsafe.ini
Invalid databases"
I tried mapping the drive and it didn't help.
Any help would be appreciated.
