Dual Boot environment

Greetings.

on my machine i have a dual boot configuration with windows xp and vista x64. For compatibility issues i have both as development environment.

Now i want to use the same database files to have the "same" server.
i have tried to attach existing database files to vista sql express 2005 but i doesn't work. I would like to use such a configuration without to do extra steps like backup db in xp and restore in vista.

This is a very special case and i know such a setup is not supported. I wonder if anybody has solved such an approach.

Fortress or Vault users, do any of you have experience with this? If so please post here.

You also might try posting to some of the SQL Server forums, as this question would apply to any type of SQL Server database.
