Does Fortress offer change tracking at file level?

When publishing a web based release we like to tell our customers what files were affected. Can Fortress generate a report based on a release version and tell us what files were affected (touched)?

I believe we've been generating such lists from the client by using a history query between labels.

We don't yet have an standard solution to generate (from a Fortress milestone) a list of all files that were changed in conjunction with bugs in that milestone. Is that what you're asking for?

However, I'm very confident that with a few hours, one of our developers could write something using the client API that would generate that list. We have the data, we just don't yet have anything that puts all that data together in a way that's useful.

What you're asking for is a good idea, and it speaks to our future directions with Fortress. We want you to be able to easily us Fortress work items to find source code that needs to be merged across branches or deployed. Great minds think alike, and I'd be happy to hear any other ideas for this type of integration that you can think up.

The objective is simple, it's file change tracking. The area where it's needed most is distributing asp.net updates so customers know what files need to be diff/merged, etc.
