I know it is not a supported configuration but does anyone have this working?
I have it acting like it wants to work but just keeps telling me that no server is configured.
Does anyone have Vault working with Toad?

I know we have at least one user working with this:

We haven't tested it though, and I've never tried it out.
Can you open your Vault client and first verify that part is fully functional? Perform a check-out, make some sort of change, and then check-in. If you don't make a change, you end up with an undo check-out rather than a check-in, so make sure you made a change to the file.
If that part is functional, then you may wish to look for a few Toad resources for help, for example: http://safari.oreilly.com/0672324865/ch04lev1sec21. Toadsoft also provides a good list of resources on their pages: http://www.toadsoft.com/.

Toad
Hi,
Toad uses Code Control Groups. There is a wizard with Toad to set that up.
Once the Code Control Group is set up, it seems to work well with Vault. The main issue of concern I have encountered is the set up.
For example, we have set up the groups for different schemas in an Oracle database. We set up the working folders to be the same name as the schemas just to keep it easy to follow.
Currently, we are experiencing a user where the set up is done but whenever the user tries to open a package, Toad tells us it is in read-only mode. The user can check out the package directly from Vault, but not Toad. Two others in our group can check out fine. So, it seems to be machine specific or, perhaps, Toad version specific.
It'd be great if Vault had a set of instructions for working with Toad.

Thanks much. Patrick
I can put in a feature request if you'd like. Just for right now if we've never tested it, that means it's not supported. I'm not even sure if we have it in-house or not. It'd be great if Vault had a set of instructions for working with Toad.
Thanks for responding with what you know though. I'm going to assume that this is a feature request and get it entered.
