platform not consistent between web admin and IDE

Post by ebinfo » Tue Apr 22, 2008 3:35 pm

I have renamed the platforms PHP4 and PHP5

i assigned an item to be of platform PHP4

yet when i look at it in the IDE after doing the changes and about to check out, i go look for the item, then double click on the item to see the details, the dropdown items for the platforms are unchanged, they are still showing Mac, Unix, Windows, and Unknown.

You can't bounce back and forth between Visual Studio and Vault when it comes to some functions, because Vault does not know what other files to write information to. When you move, rename files, or make changes in Visual Studio that affect what is listed in a solution or project file, it will make the necessary changes in the solution and project files so that when they open, they know what file to look for now.

When you say you assign an item to be of platform PHP4, how exactly are you doing that and are you doing that in VS?
