Hello,
One of my teammates informed me this mornign that one of the files under our source control does not show for him when using the source vault client.
He noticed this because VS2008 continues to try and add it as a newly created file, so he looked in the vault client and it is seemingly missing. However the rest of our development team does not encounter this issue and the file shows fine for me.
I have tried removing/replacing the file, checking in/out, even logged on as his username from my machine(the file DOES show)
Has anyone encountered this or have any ideas?
one of my vault users has no visibility to certain files.

Have him look in his pending check-ins. Are there any deletes or moves or any kind of action on the problem file there? That could affect what he will see. Check very carefully in the pending check-ins before going to the next idea. If there is a pending check in on that file, you will need to determine if it's a change you need or not.
If that's not the case, it sounds like something isn't written to the cache quite right. The user will want to got to his [url=http://support.sourcegear.com/viewtopic.php?t=6Client Side Cache[/url] on his machine and remove the entries for CacheMember_LastStructureGetTime and CacheMember_Repository.
