Server was unable to process request. --> Access is denie

Unable to Login To Vault 3.1.1 anymore - (Registered Version for 5 Users)

After my last try to Re-Configure the VaultServer - to add correct E-Mail Settings - I got an Access Denied Error on the Vault-Directory. So I changed The Accessright to Full to test if this is the Reason (For IUser).
After I set the Rights of IUser back To ReadFolder I cant get any Access to Vault anymore.
To Client and no Admin Login is possible anymore.
I do have an Backup of the Vault Database.

I would prefere to fix the Problem mentioned in the Subject Line above.
The Error appears when I try to Login.

Does anybody have an Idea on how to fix this?

I believe the rights should be Read/Write.

It might be faster just to perform an uninstall (keeping the database) and reinstall (use the current database) the Vault server to let it reset all its permissions.

Also, you can upgrade to Vault 3.1.9 (server and clients) if you wish so that you have all the updates for the 3.1.x version of Vault.

Access

Hi,

thanks for the Advice. I have now installed the 3.1.9 Version and the Vault works now.

But I have still one Problem.
When I try to set the E-Mail Settings within the Vault Admin I get an Error that Access is denied to the VaultFolder.

So I am not able to set Email Server / Postbox - Settings.

How I can make the E-Mail settings to the Server to use this feature?

Regards,
Mansur

Could you post a screenshot? You can remove it again when we're finished with this thread.

Also, take a look in your Vault Server Log for errors.
