File status after upgrade from Vault

I was using Vault 4.0.4, now I have installed Fortress. When I run the Fortress client, it does not have any of the working directory or file status information from Vault, so all files have a status of "unknown" and all my pending changes are gone.

Is there a way to get this information from Vault so I don't have to go through and reset all the working directories, retrieve files, and sort out statuses?

Never mind--after taking a quick look at Fortress I don't think it meets my needs. I rolled back to Vault and things are OK now.

For users who are trying the same thing: Fortress has a separate cache file from Vault, so until files are retrieved into the working directory, the client doesn't know the file status. You could do a Get latest, or in the Fortress GUI Client, you can turn on CRC's in Tools->Local Files.
