When I launch the Vault client from My PC
It connects to the server but when I first connect to a repository
I got first an error that tells about an Error on file stream.
Then the following error:
Unable to read data from the transport connection: The connection was closed.
These are the Configuration info on my machine:
I remember this happening some time ago after an upgrade,
this time, I'm installing a brand new machine.
Any Ideas?

Error Connecting Vault from Vista Enterprise SP1
Moderator: SourceGear
I don't recall a Vista firewall causing that error, but you can always turn off your firewall temporarily and see if you get the same error.
I believe what you are getting for an error could be .NET related also.
Would you be able to either post or send me your Application Log from your Event Viewer?
Also, the Vault server log might tell me a little more as well.
If you decide to email those, send that to support at sourcegear.com (Attn: Beth) with a link to this forum thread.

Ok then, it wasn't Vista firewall, the problem is due to a setting on my
F-Secure Client Security 7.11 build 107 Antivirus.
This version and probably also the Internet Security version of this antivirus, has a Feature that performs a real time scan of the HTTP traffic.
Even if it is surely fast, it is not fast enough to avoid timeouts on Vault Client Requests.
After I've removed the Check on the Real Time Scan option of F-Secure, everything works fine.
If someone else got the same problem, add also a Vault Client cache cleaning just in case.
bye
