Visual Studio.NET 2002 Patch for Vault

Hi,
We are migrating our projects from Sourcesafe to SourceGear.
Several of the older projects we want to migrate are in Visual Studio.NET 2002, All of our new projects are in 2003.
Will this patch break the 2003 integration and projects that have already been added to SourceGear in 2003?

The VS 2002 patch should work within VS 2003 ok, but note that we made some IDE integration updates with Vault 2.0.3 that are not in the 2002 patch, and we don't plan to update the patch.

So, you can either use the 2002 patch all the time, or swap the Vault IDE dlls via the registry when using VS 2002 (to change which Vault dll version is loaded into VS). Another approach would to change the names of the DLL on disk (where the registry points to) when switching VS versions.

In either case, if you run into any problems, make sure you mention which Vault IDE version you are using when reporting the problem.

Hi!

We have some compatibility problems with VS 2003 so some Projects have to stay on VS 2002 for some time.

Is there at least a way that the either next version of Vault can automatically switch to the VS 2002 Patch dll if started from VS 2002 or directly supports VS 2002?

I have installed VC++ 6.0, VS 2002 and VS 2003 installed on my machine. VC++ 6.0 integration works perfectly with both versions.
