Adding a non-vault web application to the vault web site

If I add another asp.net 2.0 application to the web site on Windows Server 2003 that our vaultservice application runs on, and isolate it in a different application pool, are there likely to be any impacts on the vault service other than sharing host resources (cpu, disk access, network, etc...)?

I'd like to be able to share the ssl cert across the 2 sites. Otherwise, I have to free up and route another IP address across the firewall to have SSL for the other site I want to add.

You should be able to run another web app on the website that hosts Vault.
