Project files sometimes remain checked out

Using 4.1/VS2008 with enhanced client, if I check in a bunch of modified files, I sometimes then see a project file in Pending Changes (there should be no Pending Changes since I just checked everything in) with a status of unmodified. It's intermittent.

Is there any kind of pattern? Is it always a particular project? In another issue you posted I mentioned diagnostic logging. That would help for this one, too.

No pattern, and it hasn't happened in awhile. I'd let it go.
