Connecting Existing Solution to Fortress

Post by AlanC » Tue Feb 19, 2008 1:41 pm

Hello,

We upgraded from Vault to Fortress recently.

I have a solution with a number of projects that already exists in our Fortress database (which was imported from Vault).

We use Visual Studio 2005 and have not been using source control integration previously.

At this point I'm wanting to enable source control integration with Fortress and I'm having some difficulty binding the solution to the existing Fortress projects.

I have "SourceGear Fortress Visual Studio 2005 Client" configured as my source control plug-in.

When I load the solution, I have the option to "Add Solution to Fortress" on the context menu, however I can't seem to find anyway to bind the solution to an existing one in Fortress.

The Source Control toolbar buttons are all greyed out.

If I choose "Add Solution to Fortress" and choose the existing folder in the Fortress DB, it warns me that the folder already exists and suggests that I choose a different location.

How can I resolve this problem?

Thanks,

Alan

Nevermind, I found the "Change Fortress Bindings" command on the File menu.
