User definition - SourceOffSite

Post by OriLotan » Sun Nov 25, 2007 1:31 am

Hello,

I'm interested in the SourceOffSite product that you offer, and after installing the demo server and client, we're very pleased.

Regarding the prices that are defined on the website, 239$ per user, there's no explanation defining a user.

Therefore, I'll elaborate a little in order to clarify my concern:

We're using the Visual Source Safe 6.0 within our company, and we want to connect one user (for the meanwhile) that doesn't work from the office. The rest of the employees in the office shall continue using the Visual Source Safe (LAN).

How many users will we have to purchase in case we're interested using the SourceOffSite for this single user connecting out of our office?

Best regards,
Ori

An SOS user license allows one person to login to the SOS Server and connect to a VSS database. If you have only one user connecting remotely through SOS, you need one user license.

The users on the LAN can continue to use VSS.
