Diff tool issues - wierd text being displayed in diff window

Hi,

I am having problems using the diff tool that is built into vault 2.0.1. I have checked in some SQL files into vault via Visual Studio .NET 2003. When I try to diff 2 versions of some files, the older copy (on the left pane) looks all messed up, but the newer one looks fine (right pane). However, if I try to do a View of the old version, it comes up fine in a text editor.

Has anyone has this problem?
