SourceGear has released Vault 3.5.3 (5169).

Changes for Vault 3.5.3

Vault Server 3.5.3

• Fixed a problem where a check out, undo check out, and check out of a file by the same user on the same machine reported the file checked out twice.
• Fixed an issue where a file under $/ did not have its checkout lock status verified when the item was moved, deleted or renamed within a transaction.

Vault Client 3.5.3 Overview

• Added "Resolve Merge" support for SourceGear DiffMerge.
• History favorites correctly calculates the "Include past days" setting to represent the past X days from the current date.
• Improved performance of the file or folder properties dialog.

Vault GUI Client 3.5.3

• The Vault internal folder diff routine correctly calculates differences where the diff operation was invoked on folders with different ancestors.
• Can now close the Vault client without error if the Label Explorer is still open.
• Enabling Vault as the Default Source Code Control provider will set the Source Control Provider for Visual Basic 6, Dev Studio, Visual Studio .NET, Visual Studio .NET 2003, and Visual Studio .NET 2005

Vault MSSCCI IDE Client 3.5.3

• Renaming, moving, deleting of files or folders within a Visual Studio project is now reflected within the Vault repository.
• Checkout locks invoked by an "Undo" command from the IDE are now displayed correctly within the IDE.

Vault Command Line Client 3.5.3

• VERSIONHISTORY command lists descriptive error if incorrect arguments are used for BEGINDATE and ENDDATE.
• GETVERSION command lists descriptive error if incorrect argument is used for VERSION.
• LISTCHANGESET with the VERBOSE option lists the file status of modified files.
• COMMIT with the VERBOSE option will display a second XML listing for file(s) not committed in the transaction due to a needs merge or other file status issue.

Vault Web 3.5.3

• Fixed Vault Web to correctly display files and folders with names containing HTML specialized characters. For example, files or folders containing '&' or '+' can now be seen.

Vault Folder Export/Import 3.5.3

• Fixed problem where the Vault Folder Export Tool incorrectly identified a cyclical redundancy check (CRC) error on exported files.
• For import, the mapped users dialog presents both exported and imported user lists in alphabetical order.

Vault's Visual SourceSafe Import Tool 3.5.3

• Fixed problem where the import tool skipped files within Visual SourceSafe having contents of nothing but zeros.
