How to add a project from source control to a new solution

This use to be easy --- file / source control / add project (IIRC) but now with the 2005 integration I can't seem to do that. I have a new solution and I want to add some projects to it, from source control. Could somebody give me the step by step please.

This isn't supported in the same way as in VS 2003 integration. You would need to get the project to your local machine, then add it as an existing item.

I can log a feature request for the ability to add from source control in VS 2005 integration.
