Not able to access the repository

Post by gongon » Wed Jul 11, 2007 6:39 am

When I try to access I have this message 'you have no rights to view any items in this repository'

5 minutes ago I had access to it.

If I log on the same username on another computer, there is no problem. I can log as admin on my computer also. Everything works fine exept my username on my computer.

I try to reboot my computer and the IIS and does'nt work.

Thanks

Which version of the Vault client are you running? We saw some issues that caused this error that should have been fixed in 4.0.2. Are you running that version?

You should try bringing the solution back online by right clicking it and choosing "Online" from the context menu.

I was not finding the online option.
But the problem was visual studio by default dont show the solution if you have only one project in it. I change the
option | projects and solution | Always show solution.

Now everyting make sense.

Thanks a lot.

Now the new problem is...
I try to rename a file and create a new one with the same name as the previous one and I had big big problems.(It just dont work).

Now the problem I try to logon and I have this beautiful error message
$/VerificationPlus_Solution/verificationplus/Admin/access/active_users.aspx already exists.

But the problem is a delete the solution in the vault with the oblitarate function.
It seems that the problem append only on my computer. Exactly as with the previous version 4.0.1.

I'm starting to be little bit tired. I lost the major part of my day to making your software work.

Please help me !!!!!

To help us understand what the problem is, can you enable Vault client logging and send a log file where you try to log in and get this error. It sounds like you're having lots of trouble, and we want to fix this if we can.

I found a problem with deleting files.
In visual studio 2005 if I delete a file and try to create a new file with the same name as the deleted file, the system dont allow that.
What can I do when I want to do that?????.

Now it's impossible to create a file with this name anymore...

Thanks for help.

You need to check in the deletion of the file before you can add a new file at that location.
