Post by lbauer » Fri Apr 20, 2007 9:23 am

This article refers to earlier versions of Vault. Vault 5.1.2 and Vault 6.x are fully supported on 64-bit systems. See our compatibility chart: See our compatibility chart.

Vault 3.5.3
Vault 3.5.3 server and clients are fully supported on Windows 2003 Server (x64), Windows XP Professional (x64), and Windows Vista (x64).
Note: If your installation platform for Vault 3.5.3 is Windows Vista x64, please see this KB article on Windows Vista installation

Vault 4.0.x
Vault 4.0.x server and clients are fully supported on Windows 2003 Server (x64), Windows XP Professional (x64).

However, the Vault 4.0.x server is not supported on Vista 64-bit.

The Vault server is supported on WinXP and Win2003 64-bit operating systems only if IIS/ASP.NET is in 32-bit mode. See this Microsoft KB article for how to enable 32-bit ASP.NET for IIS:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/894435

Vault 4.1.2 Server is fully supported on 64-bit OS's, with the native 64-bit installer.

The Vault 4.0.x client is supported on Windows XP (x64), Windows 2003 (x64) and Windows Vista (x64).

The Vault Client 4.x is supported on 64-bit operating systems with no additional configuration.
