An error occurred while importing a transaction for...

Hi,

We are trying to import a Repository, to move it to a new server.

But half way I'm getting this error:

"An error occurred while importing a transaction for (TxID: 5 on 24-3-2006 8:51 by admin [1]). The import cannot continue."

The "VaultFolderExportImport.txt" show this output:

Change Set Items (Create Folder) $/Mavis. An item with the same name or object id already exists in the selected folder.

Any idea what would cause this problem, and how to solve it.

Hi,

When viewing another support question, almost alike, I notice they where asked for a log sourcevault log file.

When viewing this logfile I noticed a line":

----23-3-2007 10:36:42 admin--win-2003-server.2003server.didata.local(127.0.0.1)--SSL Disabled (eceaf028-265d-4310-8183-fa340263655d) AddFolder: $/Mavis returned: FailObjAlreadyExists

After removing the folder "Mavis" from our repository, and trying the import again, it worked fine.

Probably a first import attemp created this folder, but a second attemp does not overwrite it.
