Vault 3.5.1 and InstallShield 12...

Hi,

I'm working on Windows Vista using Vault 3.5.1 and InstallShield 12. I currently have issues opening a InstallShield 12 project that is stored in Vault. Everytime I tried to open it, the IDE crashes and I cannot open the project.

I don't really want to be able to check out the file from the InstallShield IDE but I want to store the project inside Vault and be able to open it in InstallShield.

Is there any way I can achieve this?

Ok, I just found a way.

Since we were migrating from SourceSafe, the project was still configured to be under SourceSafe and that is why the IDE was crashing.

Still, everytime I try to go to the advanced view in the source control options, the IDE crash.

The integration of SourceVault into InstallShield does not seem to work at all.

Vault does not support IDE integration with InstallShield.

After changing your source control bindings to Vault, are you still having problems checking files in and out?

I cannot checkin or checkout the project from the IDE but now I can work by checking out the file manually from Vault and then work in InstallShield.
