Rollback a changeset?

Post by davenovak » Thu Feb 22, 2007 4:56 pm

Does Vault allow you to rollback an entire changeset as a single transaction? I know that I could track down each file in the changeset and do a rollback on each, though this would be slow and laborious. I'm looking for the easy solution here.

I don't believe the information on what was in a changeset is saved anywhere, and Vault would need that to perform the rollback. I can put in a feature request if you wish.

Well Vault certainly know the files that were updated -- I can get that list myself from Vault by clicking Details. Most "changeset"-driven SCC providers do support this feature.

Ok, the changeset is tracked at the folder level, so it appears what would need to happen is the ability to rollback a folder. Again, I will just list a feature request.
