I am working on 2 projects. One is using VS.NET 2002 and one is VS.NET 2003. The one using VS.NET 2003 is on a VSS database that has SourceOffSite 3.5.3 installed. The one using VS.NET 2002 is not. So I really need to have VS.NET 2002 use VSS client for source code control and VS.NET 2003 to use SOS.
Is this possible? Maybe a reg tweak?
Thanks,
Frank

When you change the default SCC provider in the SOS GUI client, it changes the registry for SCC provider. Both VS.NET 2002 and 2003 use this setting to determine what to integrate with.
To use VSS for source control integration, uncheck the option to make SOS the default SCC provider in the SOS Client.
