Solution inside another solution's repository

Solution #1 (Windows App) lives in on the local drive like other solutions.

It works/talks to Vault without any issues.

Solution #2 (Managed Sql) happens to live in a folder underneath the root of Solution #1 on the local drive.

Solution #2 can be retrieved from Vault. But check-outs aren't reflected in Vault and check-ins aren't saved to Vault.

Solution #2 is related to Solution #1.

What is the correct way to solve this problem?

We'd like to understand the problem better. Could you send us screenshots that show what the project looks like in Visual Studio, the Vault GUI Client and what it looks like on disk?

Also, if you have other details or screenshots of the checkout problem, send those, too.
